Creating Your First Listing with Elistit

A step-by-step walkthrough of creating your first Etsy listing using Elistit's guided workflow.

Elistit’s guided workflow takes you from a text description to complete listing data (title, tags, description): including print-ready files, mockups, and listing copy. Here is how it works.

Step 1: Describe Your Vision

Open the Create page and describe what you want in one sentence. For example:

“Minimalist botanical line art, sage green on cream, modern farmhouse style”

Press Enter and the shop manager works out the product type and fills in the brief for you. The more specific you are, the better the result. See Describing what you want for what it reads and what it cannot guess.

Step 2: Generate Images

Launch the product and Elistit generates the artwork, then carries it through processing without you having to babysit each step. Clipart bundles pause once so you can approve the set before it continues. Everything else runs straight through.

Each launch costs credits, see How Credits Are Used Per Tool for the breakdown.

Step 3: Upscale to Print-Ready

Selected images are automatically upscaled to 300 DPI at your chosen print sizes. Elistit handles standard wall art ratios (2:3, 3:4, 4:5, ISO) so your files are ready for buyers to print.

Step 4: Mockups, Automatically

Elistit composes your art into realistic room-scene mockups as part of the run, using your configured mockup sets, so the listing gallery is ready without a separate step. You manage which scenes are used under Mockups; mockups help buyers visualize the product and increase conversion rates.

Step 5: Generate Listing Copy

Elistit drafts your listing title, description, and tags optimized for Etsy search. Review and edit the copy, then download your listing data file.

Step 6: Upload to Etsy

If your Etsy shop is connected, Elistit creates the listing as a draft in your shop, with the files, mockups and copy already attached. Review it, set your price, and publish when you are happy.

If you have not connected a shop, you can export the listing data and files and upload them yourself. See Connecting your Etsy shop.

Either way the last word is yours: Elistit drafts, you publish.
